  • Assistance with Clothing and Household Items

    Council Re- sale offers children’s clothing, and women’s and men’s career, casual, and evening wear attire, shoes, accessories, and jewelry, home accessories, linen, books, and art, all at low prices.  Assistance provided to those unable to afford these items.

    Donations welcome.

    Consultations and supportive counseling for family caregivers.

    Jewish Senior Life
    Support groups and other services for family caregivers of people living with dementia.

    JVS Human Services
    Support groups for individuals caring for older adults; and respite, support groups and other services for family caregivers of people living with dementia.

    Kadima
    The Friends and Family Group provides support for caregivers that are taking care of a loved one who has a mental health challenge.

  • Family Support Services and Emergency Financial Assistance

    Services include a needs assessment, development of a self-sufficiency plan, information and referrals and help with navigating public benefits. Financial assistance with basic living needs for those who meet eligibility criteria.

    Services include assistance to families/individuals who are facing foreclosure and/or need assistance with budgeting, debt management/reduction, home buyer education and money management. Individual counseling and group workshops are available.
